If you are able to install a regular sink in your home, then you should be able to install your own apron sink. The only difference is the exposure on the front of the sink. You will have to remove the front piece of the countertop and make sure your sink will fill the remaining space. You also have to have a sink base that allows for the front to be exposed.
Adjusting your sink base to accommodate an Apron Sink
The easiest way to adjust your sink base to accommodate an apron sink is to remove the false drawer fronts on the sink. Most of these are added to cover the additional space needed for the sink to set into the base. Removing these can create the necessary space for the apron of the sink to hang over the counter and for it to be exposed to the room.
