Installing an apron sink can be just as easy as installing a regular sink, all you have to remember is that the front of the sink is exposed. This means that you need a sink base that is open on the front and does not have high cabinets. You should always measure your sink before you purchase the base and let the company know how big of an opening you need.
Cutting a countertop to accommodate an Apron Sink
One of the biggest problems with installing an apron sink is that the countertop does not go all the way around the sink. The easiest way to handle this problem is to have the hole for the sink cut a little farther forward in the countertop. Then just leave the front of the counter open and install the sink so that it sits a little away from the wall.
